Come to the Opening of “Place of Beauty” in our NEW Digital Gallery this Saturday from 5 to 7:30pm. Light refreshments will be served. This inaugural installation celebrates the sublime beauty of the Delaware River Watershed.
Utilizing the latest technologies across 14 unique installations, including a 16 foot media wall, visitors to “Place of Beauty” are offered a unique experience of our pristine waters, stunning light, breathtaking wildlife, meditative soundscapes, and beloved riverscapes.
Light is refracted into colors in abstract digital compositions that will delight viewers. “Virtual” meets “real” in convergent sculptural objects made of bluestone, canvas, wood, fabric, and glass.
Reflections and refractions made by micro-projectors, iPads, and HD-monitors give the gallery space a cool-glow. And interactive holographic objects will amuse young and old alike.
